This study was carried out in eight (8) municipalities of the department of Sucre, which were: Sincelejo, San Marcos, Toluviejo, Morroa, San Onofre, Galeras, Guaranda and Majagual, in these nine (9) locations were established in order to consolidate the climatic and geophysical variables of the territory, and physiological of the cocoa crop with its influence on the establishment and development of an agroforestry system in scenarios of climatic variability such as El Niño and La Niña. For this, the information of the Expert Map project (Agrosavia), of the Agustín Codazzi Geographic Institute (IGAC), the projections of the Rural Agricultural Planning Unit (UPRA) and the soil studies carried out on the land were taken. This allowed the correlation and analysis of the variables through the technique of main components in the R program where it was found that all the variables related to the water resource were grouped at the same point.
