Publicación Acceso abierto Caracterización nutricional, físico-química y microbiológica de tres abonos orgánicos para uso en agro ecosistemas de pasturas en la subregión Sabanas del departamento de Sucre(Revista Tumbaga, 2020-01) Pérez Cardozo, Ricardo; Pérez Cordero, Alexander; Vertel Morinson, Melba; Revista TumbagaThe aim of this paper is to present the main results of a research oriented to characterize nutritionally, physicochemically and microbiologically three organic fertilizers to be used in agricultural ecosystems of pastures located in the Subregion Sabanas of Sucre Department, Colombia. Th ree organic fertilizers were prepared (chicken manure compost, cattle manure compost, and worm compost) with native materials from the zone of study. Nutritional, physico-chemical and microbiological characterization of each one of those composts was made. To relate the nutritional, physico-chemical and microbiological parameters of the fertilizers, multivariate techniques (principal components analysis or simple correlation analysis) and the statistical program R, 2009 were used. Th e results show that chicken manure compost has a bigger nutritional contribution, a major retention of moisture and high volatilization. Chicken manure compost and worm compost show the lowest density (0.40g/cm3). The three fertilizers have concentrations of Cd, Cr, Hg, Ni and Pb below the maximum permissible levels for the 5167 NTC 2004 and Cu and Zn concentrations below the maximum allowed by the European Community (Royal Decree 824 of 2005, Spain). The diversity of microbial communities in cattle manure compost is higher fungi and bacteria. Nutritional content, easiness of release and physico-chemical and microbiological characteristics determine the quality of an organic fertilizer; so they must be evaluated before its application in any agroecosystem.Publicación Acceso abierto Efecto de diferentes tipos de abonos sobre hongos edáficos en el agroecosistema de Bothriochloa pertusa, (L) A. Camus, en Sabanas sucreñas, Colombia(Revista Livestock Research for Rural Development; 2015, 2020-01) Pérez Cardozo, Ricardo; Vertel Morinson, Melba; Pérez Cordero, Alexanderhe objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of organic and chemical fertilization applied during the dry and rainy season on the population density of rhizosphere fungi in the agrocosystem of Bothriochloa pertusa in the sabanas of Sucre, Colombia. For the in-situ evaluation of fertilizers a plot of 2280 m2 was selected, defining an area of 1848 m2; using a completely randomized block with measures repeated for the climatic seasons (dry, rainy). The treatments were: TEST control, ABM mineral fertilizer-urea, COMP chicken manure compost, COMB cattle manure compost and LOMB vermicompost. In the chemical fertilizer was applied 218 kg / ha of urea (46%), and in the organic, 1.5 tonnes / ha of organic fertilizer. To determine the effect of fertilizers on the population density of fungi (CFU/g) present in the treatments were used simple correspondence analysis, and to relate the abundance of fungi with chemical parameters of soil treatment was performed Canonical Correspondence Analysis. The data were analyzed in the statistical program R. Vermicompost treatment during the study showed the greatest diversity of fungal group: Dematiaceae, Moniliaceae, Asprgillus sp, Penicillium sp and Humicola sp. In the dry season, all soils with the respective fertilizers had higher densities, showing the highest value Vermicompost with Dematiaceae. It is concluded that the soil with the treatment vermicompost presented the best microbiological conditions in two climatic periods, these microorganisms being more abundant in the dry season.Publicación Acceso abierto Evaluación de la colonización de Micorrizas arbusculares en pasto Bothriochloa pertusa (L) A. camus(2020-01) Pérez Cordero, Alexander; Vertel Morinson, Melba L.; Revista MVZ CórdobaObjective. Evaluate in situ the colonization of arbuscular micorrhizae, in grass roots colosuana in function of the physical and chemical characteristics of the soil, in cattle farms of four agroecological areas of the savannah physiographical sub region. Materials and methods. The determination of the colonization percentage was done in colored roots. In order to establish the differences between average colonization percentages between areas, a completely random design was used. To determine the differences between areas, the Tukey test was used to the nearest 5%. The physical and chemical variables and colonization percentages in the tested farms were characterized through the main component analysis technique, and the farms were classified through agglomerative cluster analysis. Results. The ANOVA showed significant differences (p-value=0.02359) between the colonization average percentages between areas. The Tukey test revealed that areas 2 and 4 showed the least colonization percentages and are statistically the same, while areas 1 and 3 had the maximum colonization values. The main component analysis showed high colonization percentages of HMA in farms with moderate phosphorous and Nitrogen contents; low sodium and moderately alkaline pH. The agglomerative cluster showed 5 groups of farms related to decreasing colonization percentages in the presence of clay to sandy-loam structure. Conclusion. This is the first regional and national level on the effect of physical-chemical parameters of soil on arbuscular mycorrhizal colonization in Colosuana grass roots.
